    Dr. Ross Stanley is a physicist with a PhD and over three decades of experience in optics innovation. He spent nine years at EPFL as a research scientist, focusing on the development of high-efficiency LEDs and advanced nanophotonic technologies. In 2001, he became Section Head of Optical MEMS and Photonics at CSEM SA, where he led a team pioneering optical solutions for diverse industries, from medical diagnostics to infrared gas sensing. He also coordinated two EU-funded projects on plasmonics.
    In 2016, Dr. Stanley founded Optiross Sàrl, an optics consulting firm, where he served as Director and lead consultant, advising major clients including Intel, Magic Leap, and NIL Technologies.
    In 2021, he joined 4K-MEMS SA, a company developing groundbreaking NIR emitters, where he now leads innovation in optical design, leveraging the company’s unique emitter technology for advanced applications.
    Dr. Stanley is the holder of more than 15 patents and has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers.
